Description: 85,000 SF interior and exterior renovation of the 1930's art deco headquarters building of the Texas Department of Transportation. Portions of the project required supervision and approval of the Texas Historic Commission. These included restoration and preservation of a wall mural in the main lobby of the building, and historic renovation to the Highway Commission Hearing rooms on the first floor and offices on the second floor. Additionally, the exterior limestone veneer required repair, cleaning and preservation.
