John M Braun - President & Chief Operating Officer

John Braun is a native of Austin and has lived here since 1979 when he returned from
active duty in the US Air Force. He holds a BA degree from Texas A&M University and
a MBA degree from the University of Utah. He was one of the original founders of
Braun & Butler Construction in 1982 and has served as President and Chief Operating
Officer since that time. John also served in the Texas Army National Guard and retired
in May 2001 as a Colonel with 30 years of commissioned military service. Additionally he
is a 1999 graduate of "Leadership of Austin" and served as Chairman of the Austin
"AGC-Austin" for 2002 and 2003.

David K Butler - Secretary/Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer

David Butler is a native Austinite. After earning a BS degree from Howard Payne University,
he spent several years serving as an Ordained Minister in several Baptist churches in Texas.
In 1979 David moved back to Austin to pursue a career in the entertainment business.
During the next four years he worked as a lead construction carpenter to supplement his
income as an entertainer. Having renewed a lifelong friendship with John Braun, he
co-founded Braun and Butler Construction in 1982, and has served as it's only Financial
Officer. David continues to speak and entertain churches, civic groups, schools and
conventions across the U.S.
