The Greater Texas Foundation Building is a 9728sf single story building that serves as the permanent headquarters for a philanthropic educational foundation. The site conditions are very expansive clay soils which necessitated drilled piers supporting a suspended slab. The exterior is a combination of masonry, plaster, glass and reclaimed wood. The interior includes stained concrete floors, exposed reclaimed wood ceilings and stained plaster walls. The project includes a rainwater collection system used for all irrigation on the site. The project received a LEED Gold designation from the US Green Building Council.
