This renovation to an existing 3,900 SF fire station included the addition of a structural mezzanine for the weight room and administrative offices on the second floor. The first floor included the addition and renovation of four dorm rooms, two bathrooms, private pantries, kitchen, dining room, and living room. The existing facility was stripped to exterior stud walls leaving a blank slate for renovations. The mechanical renovations included the addition of two split system and unit heaters in the apparatus bay, the electrical service size was increased, and an automatic fire sprinkler system was installed. The renovations to Station 604 were welcomed by the men and women of Lake Travis Fire Rescue by providing the upgrades to one of the oldest stations in their district.
