Austin Rocha

Project Manager

Austin came to Braun & Butler in 2016 with a background in general maintenance and ranch work. He managed a 300 acre whitetail breeding operation, as well as ranch activities. In addition, he has worked in construction related trades his whole life. He learned a lot from his father, who is a very skilled carpenter. During high school, Austin picked up welding and fabrication, both of which have been passions of his ever since. While earning his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at Texas A&M, Austin was a "brownpot" & safety coordinator for the student-led Bonefire organization. Consisting of 600+ student participants, Bonfire has displayed a feat of will power & tradition throughout its 100+ years of Aggie tradition. Braun & Butler Construction offered him the opportunity to further his knowledge and skill sets, as well as challenge him mentally. Austin was immediately drawn to the family orientated environment that Braun & Butler has throughout the company and with its customers. It was a natural fit. He is OSHA 30 qualified and has certifications in CPR, AED, and first aid. This Eagle Scout is also involved in the following organizations: NRA, ACTS, Ducks Unlimited, and AGC. Austin currently lives in Lampasas with his wife, Gracie, who is a Project Manager Assistant with Braun & Butler. They have two dogs, Crockett & Boone, and are expecting their first baby in summer 2022. Austin enjoys hunting, fishing, archery, travel, and cheering on his fellow Aggie alumni football and baseball players.
