This project included renovations to existing classrooms to allow for more flexible space to account for growth. Ceiling grid tiles, lights, grilles, millwork, and ducts were removed in four sections of the school—demolition of the sections’ walls, flooring, and sprinkler system. Lockers and locker pads were removed from the hallway area. Set and weld new structural steel. New ductwork installed. Installation of walls and door frames. New electrical and sprinkler systems were installed in the renovated sections—established tracks and glass partitions into classrooms. Masons installed CMU walls with windows in the locker areas. New ceiling grid and carpet tile installed. Tape, float, and painted classrooms and locker areas. Salvaged millwork and countertops installed in classrooms and locker area. Water lines relocated. Replacement of data cabling and port connects—installation of marker boards in classrooms and trophy case in the hallway.
