The Frank Fickett Scout Center is a new 30,220sf two story office and conference center serving the Capitol Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The structure includes slab on grade with piers, structural steel with metal stud framing. The exterior includes both standing seam metal roof and single ply membrane roof, along with limestone and plaster veneer. Interior finishes incorporate stained concrete, exposed steel structure, carpet, glass wall partitions, and a state of the art audio visual control system for the conference center. The building was designed with the goal of providing a visible positive statement about the Boy Scouts of America and it most definitely succeeds in that goal.
